I haven’t been doing to awful on the whole eating better lifestyle!
In fact most days I have made smoothies consisiting of:
- Mangoes
- Raspberries
- Spinach
- Flax
- Strawberries
- Apples
- Carrots
- Dynamo Juice from Trader Joe’s
Then my lunches have consisted of Brown Rice, Carrots, & Brussel Sprouts. Except for lunch yesterday I had Wonton Soup. High in sodium, but besides that, not to shabby.
Now I just need to keep it up. My 21st birthday is coming up on Tuesday, so I have to worry about not getting beer gut :p Actually, I’m not a beer fan so much. At least not yet.
My only issue currently is that I am terrible at physical activity besides work. It’s -22 today & working out at home isn’t too easy. Luckily, Febuary 1st I am planing on getting a membership at the local gym. My works health plan just added some gym perks, including a free six month membership! So we’ll see how that goes.
Until then, I’m going to stay bundled up, keep on my smoothie kick, maybe add some more healthy recipes to the mix, & keep focused.
